The German Advertising Film Academy was established in June 2013 as an autonomous and independent organisation. Our members, producers (from the Advertising Section of the German Producers Alliance) and previous winners of the German Advertising Film Awards come from every creative corner of the marketing film environment.

The academy focuses on the following objectives:

• Assure quality
• Promote talent
• Reward excellence
• Promote innovation in film-based communication
• Enable interdisciplinary exchange

The German Advertising Film Academy annually organizes the most important national award for commercially produced moving images, the German Advertising Film Award.

As a promoter of talent, the German Advertising Film Academy is also the organizer of the Christian Köster Talent Award and Speed Recruiting.
